Chantal’s soup deserves a special mention, the quality was incredible. She welcomed us into her charming castle with such openness and warmth. The conversations, the atmosphere, the reception, and even her dog all made the place feel so welcoming. The food was really good too. After reading the reviews, including the less positive ones, I think it would help to know what average rating those reviewers usually give. Chantal deserves five stars. It’s the work and passion that go into giving people this kind of experience that matter, not perfection.

Chantal was such a friendly host. We spent one night here during a snowy January weekend and had a wonderful time.

We were on a business trip and stopped here for one night on our way to the Nurburgring. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, and a leisurely breakfast the next morning set us up nicely for the rest of the trip. Our three course meal from the local menu was delicious, and the red wine was lovely. The room was huge, up on the top floor of a country house, with a very large main bed and a sofa bed in the adjoining lounge. There was also an infra sauna in the corner.

We found the place on booking and visited last weekend. Chantal was a super friendly, charming host. The room was clean, pleasant, and perfectly fine for a night. We tried the outdoor jacuzzi on a quiet January evening, which was quite an experience. There’s also a swimming pool, so we’ll definitely come back. Thanks for the hospitality, Chantal. 💖💖💖🤗🤗

The evening meals were tasty, made with local ingredients, and reasonably priced. It’s a unique property, and the owner did her best to make us comfortable. There’s a small pool and garden outside that would probably be nice in summer, plus parking on site. There are a lot of stairs, especially if you’re staying on the top floor like we were. I’d like to return.
