Camping Colline de Rabais

We stopped for one night on our way back to England. The toilets and showers were very clean, and the pool looked great. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We had a great meal at a reasonable price.

The grounds are nicely looked after, and the pool is clean, apart from a few kids playing in it lol. Seriously, it’s our first time here, but we’re already thinking about coming back for at least a week. They speak French, Dutch and English, which is another good reason to return.

We had a comfortable stay in one of the static caravans. It had its own toilet and shower, heating, a handy kitchen with four burners and a microwave, plus two bedrooms and a living area. The pool was nice, and the area around it in the forest was lovely too.

The peaceful setting is a big part of what makes Camping La Colline appealing. It’s easy to slow down here and enjoy the birds and rustling leaves, while kids have space to explore and adults can relax. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and their local tips are useful if you want to see the area. There’s plenty of room for tents, caravans and campervans, with a bit of privacy while still having a sense of community. The campsite is well kept, with clean sanitary blocks, walking paths, a playground and barbecue areas. The surrounding hills and fields make a lovely backdrop. Camping La Colline is a good place to enjoy the outdoors in Virton, whether you’ve camped for years or are trying it for the first time.
