There’s plenty of free parking, though there isn’t much to do right at the property, depending on where you’re headed. The chateau’s rooms were okay for a short stay, clean but a little worn. Breakfast was good, and the local organic apple juice was a nice bonus. There’s also a restaurant, but the prices seemed on the high side. We didn’t eat there, so I can’t say how the food is.

We got a real bargain for the price. The room was lovely, with a fantastic view, and having a drink by the fire in the evening felt very cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chateau is gorgeous, with a stunning setting and its old features still intact.

For a castle that’s over 1,000 years old, I think expecting everything to look new is a bit much. In my experience, everything worked, and the rooms were warm, clean and cosy. The shower was good, and they provided very good shampoo. The internet was the best part for me: fast, at 50Mb down and 10 up. Free parking was very convenient too. The staff were polite and spoke a little English, though mostly French and Dutch.

We loved our stay, mostly thanks to the location, the building and the crew, especially Julien. The interior is a bit outdated, though, and the unnecessary tents in the inner courtyard feel like a waste of space. The bathrooms could also use some maintenance.

The view from the bed is beautiful ❤️, and the bed itself was comfortable. It’s a unique place, with a nice restaurant and a really tasty breakfast. You have to go!
