Paturages de la Kys

We’ve been bringing the family to this cottage for several years and always come away delighted. It’s quiet and charming, with lovely nature all around. The cottages have everything we need, and the kids love all the things to do, from bikes and small tractors to the sandbox and animals. I’m especially fond of this place and highly recommend it.

We’ve just had another fantastic holiday, our fourth visit with our two kids to this former farmhouse, now converted into four accommodations. Everything is clean and very well maintained, and Annie and Arsène are always there if you need them. There are lots of outings to take from here, and a hiking trail runs right by the place. The children can play safely for hours at the end of the dead-end street, riding go-karts, making friends with the other kids, feeding the goat, or using the indoor play area. It’s a top place for a top holiday. Thanks, Annie and Arsène.

Aubel makes a handy base for getting around, whether by car or bike. The Ravel route runs through town, and Val Dieu Abbey, Maastricht, and Aachen are all close by. Shops are easy to find, and Sunday morning market has plenty of local food, including rice tarts and cured meats. The internet is good enough for remote work, too. We’ve stayed in several of the cottages with family and friends. Annie and Arsène, retired farmers, are always generous with advice, especially about the marked walking trails nearby. The place is peaceful at the end of a cul-de-sac, and we’re always greeted warmly. There’s even a coffee machine ready with filter coffee and treats.

Rain didn’t spoil our Pentecost weekend at the Paturages-de-La-Kys farm in Voeren. We had a lovely time together with our children and grandchildren, with plenty for them to do indoors and out, from the roomy play area to the fields, soccer, tractors, go-karts, and bikes. The apartments are spacious and have all the practical things covered, including lots of dishes, a crib, and a high chair. We left having enjoyed both the beautiful surroundings and our time together.
