Lisette, the owner, is very friendly, and the little house is nice. Great walking country too. We did a lovely 13 km loop along beautiful trails.

The cheerful art dotted around the tidy space was lovely, and the shower and toilet were cleverly tucked behind French shutters. I smiled as soon as I stepped into the beautiful loft, with its creative decor. After a chilly day on the Dutch Mountain Trail, it was lovely to come back to the pellet stove purring away. We ate really well at Moeder de Gans. A great breakfast with a spicy omelet, yum, and a nice chat with the hostess set us up for the next leg. We were ready to head out again with energy and a smile 🚶♀️🚶

We had a good night in the attic, in a quiet location, and breakfast was good in the morning. Good restaurants are just around the corner, too. Lisette gave us a warm welcome after we’d cycled through the rain. We’d planned to hike, but an injury got in the way. Luckily, that wasn’t a problem for her.

A nice change from the usual, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The place has everything you need, the hostess is very friendly, and there are several places to eat nearby. Lovely surroundings, too.

A cozy cottage in lovely walking country, with a delightful hostess. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended, this is the place!
