Parkhotel Waregem

Charlotte’s kindness and friendliness add so much charm to this hotel. Matías was lovely too. I really like staying here and will be back. 🇦🇷🇪🇦

The free parking across the street and easy walk into downtown Waregem were handy. A nice extra: if you skip daily room cleaning, you get a free drink ticket for the bar or restaurant. We appreciated that perk. The room was clean, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. No complaints, and I’d gladly stay again.

I felt belittled by the way a young male receptionist handled a simple request. I was in a foreign country without a working phone or connection, and asked if I could borrow a Belgian plug for my iPhone cable. He told me they didn’t lend them, only sold them. The €28 price was a shock, but what bothered me more was the lack of basic hospitality. It felt like he was sticking to a script instead of seeing a guest who needed help. I hope management uses this feedback in training so other guests don’t have the same experience. I don’t usually write negative reviews, and hope this is taken humbly and constructively. Thank you.

Getting here is easy, with the highway about 2 km away, and the hotel sits just outside downtown. There’s free public parking across the street and a paid car park nearby, though spaces might be full when there’s an event at the expo hall or soccer stadium next door. Prices are reasonable. The modern rooms and excellent breakfast buffet make it a good business hotel, and its restaurant is popular.
