I would never go back. For the price, the room wasn't worth it, from the toilet paper and cosmetics to the shower. The bed was the only reasonably decent thing, but my wife and I travel the world and still didn't think the room was worth that price. Service was a problem too. We waited at the front desk when we arrived and checked in without anyone mentioning special breakfast formalities. When it was time to eat, we took the usual stairs near our room. There were no signs telling us to wait or pointing to a breakfast area. The large room was full of set tables, and we waited anyway, since we're generally decent people and have managed catering before. With no signs and only one waitress running around, and the rude, tallish, bearded man in his late thirties nowhere to be seen, we served ourselves from the buffet and looked for a table for two. They were all taken, so we sat at one of the larger set tables where another group was already sitting. There were no signs saying it was for lunch. The breakfast wasn't amazing, and the room was rather loud. As we finished our one plate, my wife quietly told me it was drafty. Then the tallish, bearded man in his mid thirties came up behind us, took my cutlery, and told us off for sitting there. I started by apologising and asking what the problem was, but he questioned whether we understood how a hotel works and complained that he'd have to set the table again for lunch. This was at 9:45 in the morning!!! At checkout I waited for the receptionist to ask how things went, but she only said, "we don't need anything from you". I told her the breakfast staff had been extremelt rude, and she just shrugged. I rarely write bad reviews, and I'm pissed off that I wasted 5 minutes writing this. Still, I hope it stops other people runing part of their weekend. Life is too short.
