The rooms are excellent, and the hotel sits in a quiet, leafy part of Waterloo. The breakfast dining room was open and breakfast was superb, though the bar and restaurant didn’t seem to be. I’d visit again, but the arrival was disappointing: reception was unmanned, and we had to use an intercom to find out there was an entrance code. Our room key, along with several others, was in an envelope on a table. Maybe that sounds picky, but I expect a person to greet me warmly.

The calm setting made it a nice place to work, unwind, or have a romantic stay. The room was cozy, with a peaceful view, and there was daily cleaning, WiFi, TV, a tasty breakfast buffet, and a nice bar and restaurant. The area is beautiful and quiet. I’m giving four stars for the pleasant people and classy behavior. Just be sure you have what you need before 6 pm, as staff finish then and there’s no night shift.

We arrived to an empty reception, so I had to call using my foreign number. Later, we got stuck in the elevator and had to call again from my foreign cell. The flush also wasn't working properly. I wouldn't recommend it.

The place felt very shabby and outdated, and it wasn't very clean. There was also a strange smell.

I was there for a work trip. The staff seemed quite pleasant.
