The service was pure class. Even with the restaurant full, our server stayed funny and personable and brought the food out quickly. I had the Belgian stew, which was delicious, and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, but had a delicious meal in the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. I was lucky to get a table. De Heerlyckeid is family-run, and the food and service lived up to that reputation: my meal was full of flavour and nicely presented, while the staff were friendly and efficient.

The food was great and reasonably priced, and the staff were really friendly and happy to help. It’s a five-minute walk from the square. I’d definitely come back and recommend it.
