The location worked really well for us. Shops and the town center are within walking distance, and Ypres itself is wonderful. We also rented bikes to explore the area’s WW1 history. Bruges and Ghent were less than an hour away by car. We spent 12 days here with our family. The place was clean, tidy, and well organized, with plenty of games and activities for the kids. The owners communicated well too.

We found nothing to criticize about this place. It’s a great choice for a family stay or a group of friends, with everything in Ieper easy to reach on foot. The finish is luxurious, the beds and duvets were lovely, and the sauna was excellent. Everything was very clean and tidy, and towels and sheets were all provided. A real pleasure for a short weekend away. Easily worth five stars.

There’s a bakery and a chip shop close by, which was handy. The house is on a quiet street, about a fifteen-minute walk from the Grote Markt. It’s very spacious and suited our whole family for a weekend away. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery, and the small garden was charming. Everything was neat and very well maintained.

The owners were easy to reach when we had questions. The house sits right on the ramparts, with a butcher and baker around the corner. From there it’s quick to get into the city center or out to the green areas on the ramparts and just beyond the city walls. There’s plenty to see and do in town and nearby. A very pleasant holiday home, with nothing to complain about.

It’s quiet and close to the Menin Gate, with a prime location. The holiday home was beautifully kept, and everything seemed to have been thought of, from the furnishings to local recommendations and tips for places to visit. Highly recommended.
