Hotel Ariane

Getting into the city centre on foot was easy, and parking at the hotel was free during our stay with plenty of space. The welcome was warm and arrival went smoothly. Rooms were very clean and had useful things like tea and coffee facilities, a safe and a hair dryer. You can check out online or at the desk. A fantastic family hotel.

We stayed at the Ariane Hotel in Ypres for two nights, from 12 to 14 December. The restaurant and bar were a real highlight, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is very nice, centrally located and has the added convenience of parking. Our room was cosy. Check-in was strictly at 15:00, which was a drawback. We also found that although someone had clearly entered our room, it hadn’t been cleaned. When we raised it at reception, they only provided fresh towels.

Breakfast was superb, with a great range of hot and cold food, better than at many 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. We booked a 'Comfy' double room, which was extremely well appointed and had all the facilities you’d expect from a 4* hotel. The room was very comfortable and well designed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s less than a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Can definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Ypres.

We had dinner here one night and the food was amazing, with friendly, energetic staff and the same high standard as the rest of our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had plenty to choose from. We spent a couple of nights here while visiting a few sites around Ypres. Our room was clean, cosy and laid out practically, and the staff were kind, friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.
