It’s a little off the beaten track, though there’s parking on site. The restaurant was closed, a pity because of the Covid legacy, but there’s a great restaurant about a 0.9 km walk away.

The owner was very friendly, and the service was good. Our room was clean and nice. Breakfast was okay, though not the best.

The manager showed no sympathy after my grandmother fell on the poorly visible stairs just after we arrived. She broke her shoulder and nearly fainted from the pain. The manager said she was in a hurry to show us the rooms, and didn’t even ask if my grandmother was okay. We decided to return to Leuven so she could go to the University Hospital there. It turned out she needed a prosthetic for her broken shoulder. The manager refused to reimburse my family for anything from the trip, which had barely begun. We haven’t heard from her since, and she still refuses to give us anything back. Absolutely not recommended.

The room was cold, and on arrival it was very dark and felt dangerous getting to it. There was moss and cobblestone underfoot, and someone had fallen. The room was very basic, much like the breakfast. Everything badly needs freshening up.

The hosting was the sweetest I’ve ever experienced. A cosy, fun place, and the pool was nice.
