Hotel Laguna Mare

The property isn't very convenient for guests with disabilities, and the rooms weren't cleaned as well as expected. Hygiene could be better. The hotel has potential, and some improvements would make a big difference.

The one thing this place has going for it is its spot right on the beach. Everything else felt stuck in the 90s, like a return to the Soviet Union in terms of service, cleaning and food. The rooms were full of old things that squeaked terribly. Reception service was below even motel requirements, though the hotel conditions aren't the reception staff's fault. The food was basic, sometimes undercooked, and not varied. The restaurant is in the other hotel. Juice was either water with a little juice or some kind of powder mix. For me this is a two-star place, not worth four stars, and its price should match two stars. I don't recommend it at all.

The buffet was very poor. Salads, soups, main dishes and desserts all tasted bland, cheap or badly made. The building felt dated, and the facilities were in bad condition.

The old furniture and finishes give this hotel a two-star feel, not the four-star one it claims. There were bed bugs, enough to ruin my vacation. I wish the rating system let me give negative points.
