A small, family-run hotel with a quiet place to stay, good service, and low prices. Highly recommend it if that’s what you’re looking for.

The balcony was small and narrow, and smelly garbage containers sat right in front of the address. The street was noisy, and the garbage smell drifted in. The room had no chair or chest of drawers, and the so-called extra bed was visible in the photos. The large bed had creaky springs and was extremely uncomfortable. The lightweight duvets were worn out, and the sheets, pillowcases, and envelopes were synthetic. The triple room didn’t match the price of 60lv. The landlady seemed hypocritical. We paid for two nights but could barely manage one because the beds were uncomfortable and smelled dirty. When we asked for the money back for the second night we’d paid for, Mrs. Gudeva accused us of being dishonest, with all her impudence. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, and don’t understand the comments from the “satisfied” guests. There’s no beach in Balchik, though the seaside is otherwise very beautiful and nice to look at.

The hygiene was extremely poor, the bathroom dirty, and the room very small, with kitsch and ugliness everywhere. The containers across from the hotel smelled bad and made a lot of noise when emptied early in the morning. They take the payment for the stay in advance, with no chance to complain.

The rooms are okay, the location is nice, and breakfast is good. For a 2-star hotel, the lady at reception was very nice and everything was quite good. My uncle stayed next door in a 3-star hotel, but had no conditions at all: for example, only a small TV with a tube at the back, while I had an 82cm LCD. His breakfast was two slices of bread with egg and tea. Mine included butter, cheese, jam, salami, cucumber, tomatoes, coffee, water, and tea, while he had to pay for coffee. I recommend HOTEL SILVER PEARL Balcik Bulgaria for a low-budget holiday.
