Regina Maria Design Hotel & SPA

We were only there for one night, but really enjoyed it. The staff were so kind throughout the hotel. We loved the dinner and continental breakfast, and having coffee on our balcony with the sea view was a treat. The spa was lovely too. Thanks so much, we'd definitely come back!

The sea view was the best part of our stay at Regina Maria Hotel in Balchik. We got a lovely room facing the water at no extra cost. It's a peaceful place for a relaxing holiday, and I'd recommend it. The hotel is older, though it's kept very clean and in good condition. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, and spoke Romanian, English, and Bulgarian, so it was easy to communicate. The restaurant's espresso was the best I've had in a hotel, too. I wouldn't call it a four-star hotel because of its age, but as a solid three-star stay it has great service, excellent coffee, and memorable views.

The food is tasty, the restaurant feels elegant, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Every room has a wonderful sea view and great design. I've travelled to plenty of lovely places, but this is still my favourite hotel, especially with Queen Maria' s castle and garden right next door.

We slept really well here. Our room looked straight out to sea, so we had coffee while watching the sunrise and left the window open at night to hear the waves. The staff in reception and around breakfast were lovely, and the location made it easy to visit Balchik. We stayed one night in October 2025. Thanks for everything!
