Ventura Boutique Hotel

I've stayed a couple of times, and it's better than some hotels that call themselves four-star. Staff were understanding when my flights meant I arrived and left at unusual times. It's a little out of the way for the city, but that also meant quieter sleep and parking right outside. On one stay, my bathroom had some damaged tiles. Fixed tiles, extra room sockets, and brighter lighting would have earned it five stars from me.

The distance was a problem for us. The site listed 2.5 km, but it seemed more like 3.5 to 6 km in practice, with no realistic way to walk or take an e-scooter to the center. Public transport was poor, and after 10 pm a taxi was the only way back. Most sights were also far away. We also had a chaotic checkout: nobody told us the minibar wasn't included, and they only calculated what we'd used at the last minute, so we missed our bus. After we paid 17 euros, they said the calculation was wrong, and the housekeeper said we'd taken even more, as though we'd stolen something. Even water wasn't complimentary. The room had no daily cleaning, towels weren't changed daily, and ventilation was poor.

The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean, and the hotel staff gave excellent service. It's in a typical local neighborhood rather than the center, but easy enough to reach by car or public transport. There's a bus stop very close by, parking at the hotel, and a mall nearby if you need anything. Recommended.

The room was huge, clean and really nice, probably one of the most spacious hotel rooms I've stayed in. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the nearby beach. The staff were lovely and helpful, even printing our bus tickets for us. A cosy place and a really good stay.
