Our whole group ended up without somewhere to stay for New Year's after the owner returned our money yesterday with a brief message saying the group renting the house would take the apartment too. I got no further reply, and my calls went unanswered. We had planned to stay with them in Bansko until January 5th and combine the holiday with skiing. The booking had seemed settled. Last week I spoke with the owner several times to agree on how many nights and the nightly price for one of the apartments. We accepted the original price and paid the full amount through Revolut. About 30 minutes later, they called to say the price was going up by 70 lv per night. We agreed, expecting to pay the difference at check-in, and made our plans. My advice is to choose carefully where you stay in Bansko, because you could arrive with your plans ruined at this “guest house”. Happy New Year to everyone.

Our dog was genuinely welcome here, even though she's not a small breed, just as the pet-friendly description said. The room was clean, with a little balcony facing the garden, and the shared areas were clean as well. The hostess explained the house rules when we arrived and was very helpful. We had booked seven days, but personal circumstances meant we had to leave after the first night. She was kind and polite about it and refunded our money straight away. I'd visit again.

We could sit in the enclosed, well-kept garden while our dog played. The owner was very friendly, and our room was clean and roomy enough. The bed was comfortable, with a nice duvet.

The host was lovely, and the location made it easy to walk into the city center. It was quiet, and even on warm summer days the room stayed at a comfortable temperature. Our room was big and really clean, with a large bed and a clean, practical bathroom. I'd recommend it.
