We felt right at home here. The privately owned guesthouse has spacious, clean, well equipped rooms that are well heated, and the hosts were generous, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing: homemade yoghurt, jams and butter, eggs, great coffee and fresh toast. It’s a real gem, our best stay in Bulgaria, and we hope to come back.

Elena, her husband and her mother went out of their way to make us feel like kings. We’ve travelled for years and have never felt so welcome or special. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and Bansko is a special place. We’ll recommend Guest House Vera to everyone we know. It felt like coming home.

Vera and her family made us feel at home from the start. The house is spotless, decorated in a lovely traditional style, and the WiFi worked great in the rooms. It’s close to the centre and amenities. All the food was bio, homemade and absolutely delicious. A real home away from home!

Baba Vera is a treasure, even though she can’t speak English. She understands and speaks some German. The guest house is warm, the shared areas and linens are clean, and the breakfast is amazing, all handmade in the kitchen beside the breakfast area. We’ll definitely be back!

The owners were so welcoming, and breakfast was a lovely Bulgarian one. We found the rooms spotless too. We really enjoyed our time at Guesthouse Vera and Bansko, and would gladly recommend this lovely place.
