We picked this place on a whim since it’s right on Balcic’s main seaside pedestrian walkway, and it turned out to be a lovely choice. The staff know their stuff and are genuinely helpful. We initially said we only wanted drinks, which was fine, then ordered food too. It was tasty and came very quickly, and the prices are more than fair. The waiters speak basic Romanian and English, as well as Bulgarian. We’d happily come back, whatever we decided to order.

The view is hard to beat, and our whole group loved both the food and the service. Our waiter was helpful and funny, and there were all sorts of traditional Bulgarian dishes on the menu. For us, it’s the best restaurant in Balchik, and I’d definitely recommend it!

On a hot summer day, sitting in the shade with the sea breeze is lovely, and the view adds to the atmosphere. The service was really friendly, too. We had great food at a decent price for the Bulgarian seaside, and the mussels were excellent. I’d have lunch there again.

What you see on the menu doesn’t really match what arrives. The salads looked quite different and didn’t taste good at all. The beer they offered wasn’t listed, so the price wasn’t clear to customers. With food and service at this level, I don’t think the restaurant can attract customers.
