For a ski trip, the location was about a 30-minute walk from the gondola, with some good shops nearby. The rooms were warm and so were the showers, though the beds weren't great. You order breakfast instead of getting a buffet like at other hotels around there. We got mixed up in translation and didn't end up eating. We paid cash for our four nights, but after the third night they said we still owed for an extra night. Ask for a receipt if you stay, it would've helped us sort that out. The owners seemed to be a husband and wife. He spoke German and Bulgarian, while she spoke only Bulgarian. Expect rakia when you arrive, even at 9 in the morning. We stayed in January and weren't expecting a high standard.

The owners were very nice. There's a pleasant rest and bar area inside, and the location is a reasonable distance from the old town and close to the market.

The tavern is small, and while the price is low, the place is far from both the centre and the ski lift unless you have a car. The rooms are very warm and have a pull-out chair. We stayed one day with small children, but there are hardly any facilities for them. After 10:30 at night you can't get in from the street. They keep asking where you're staying and why, which made it feel like being in a camp. Still, it wasn't bad overall.

The hosts were kind, and the room was comfortable. It's close to the main road, which worked well for someone just passing through Bansko. I got whatever I needed.

The house itself is nice, but there was a curfew at the tavern. They started telling us to close at 10 pm, then kicked us out of our rooms at 11.
