The apartment didn’t match its description, and the front door was broken. The electricity kept tripping, too. Booking details said cooking was allowed in the kitchen, but customer service later told me it wasn’t available. When I pointed out that I’d been misled, they stopped responding and changed the Booking.com description before Booking.com could investigate. The building was cold, with no reception. After finding the right number to call, which wasn’t the one listed on Booking.com, I still had to wait outside in the dark for half an hour with stray cats before someone let me in. This felt like a scam business.
