The owners were kind and ready to help with anything, and I was happy with my one-night stay. The room was a good deal at 60 BGN, with a fridge, air conditioning, TV, wardrobe, spacious bathroom, Wi-Fi, and enough outlets. Inside, the owners have done a nice job, even though the building looks plain from the outside and dates back to socialist times. The restaurant serves good food, though it switches to self-service and closes at 9 pm, which didn’t bother me. There’s also a grocery shop under the hotel, and the car park out front is monitored by cameras. It was completely quiet after 9 pm. Family Hotel-Restaurant "Sukhin Dol" in Beli Mel is rated 2 stars. There’s plenty to watch from here, with traffic, local people, workers, goats, sheep, and storks passing by. Dimitri can show you around the lovely Belimel church if you’d like. The owners, staff, and local customers were all friendly, and the place was celebrating 15 years since opening. The accommodation is excellent value and has air conditioning, and the food was good.

The staff were lovely, and there’s a playground next to the room. For £19, breakfast was included, and the room was fine for the price. A nice, inexpensive place for a night.
