The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. But the DJ had the music turned up so loud that our reunion dinner at Restaurant Vodenicata became impossible to enjoy. We couldn’t have a conversation or even hear ourselves think, and although we asked for the volume to be lowered, no one addressed it. I’d only been drinking water, yet I left with a headache. We’d come to catch up with my high school classmates, so the noise made the evening really frustrating. The food and service were great, but I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to anyone hoping to enjoy a meal and conversation.

A lovely garden beside the restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh vegetables, bread, tasty local bine and delicious barbeque. The restaurant food was good, and our host was great and spoke English. Rooms were clean, with air conditioning, a TV and a fridge. Free Wi-Fi and parking, too. If you’re on a long drive and need a good place to sleep, rest your bones and have dinner made with local ingredients, this is the best in Berkovita and Montana! P.S. Free Wi-Fi and parking...

I had my usual Shopska salad, along with wine and chicken, at the nice restaurant. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, with a lovely river view. One of the girls spoke very good English.
