I stayed in December 2025, while the hotel was being renovated. The beds were comfortable, rooms a decent size, parking was right in front, and the staff spoke English. Breakfast was good, with about eight options, though there was no buffet. I paid 90 euros for one room for two people, which felt a bit expensive since the new Sofia Mercure hotel cost 86 euros the next day. The hallways smelled strongly of smoke. The air conditioning or ventilation wasn’t working, so the room was extremely warm and I slept badly. The bathroom and shower were old and rundown. I can’t judge the pool or spa, which might improve the experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially if you don’t need the pool and spa. At checkout, reception wanted to inspect the room before I could leave, so I had to wait. It felt distrustful and unnecessary.

Dinner was the highlight for us: we ate there both nights, and the tagliatelle and beef steak were the best. We spent two dream days at what felt like the best hotel in Blagoevgrad. From the moment we arrived, reception greeted us with a warm smile. We’ll happily come back.

We had to book at the last minute one evening after our travel plans changed, and it turned out great. The staff were super friendly and the service was 10/10. Our deluxe room was really comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was included and tasted so good, and the pool and bar area were 10/10 too. Secure parking was included in the price. Highly recommend.

The staff made us feel like close guests in a big family, they were professional and so friendly. Hotel Ezeretz has several restaurants with 5⭐️ cuisine options, a fully equipped spa and a range of pools, including one with mineral water. It’s set in a quiet area just outside Blagoevgrad, with gorgeous views from the rooms. A beautiful, welcoming place for a weekend away or a stop on the way to Greece. Definitely worth visiting, and I can see it becoming our regular stay when we’re in the area!😍

Breakfast wasn’t good, and the room had no useful information beyond paid service ads for the restaurant and spa on the minibar and hotel phone. The room was meant to be non-smoking but smelled strongly of smoke. The hairdryer didn’t work, the fridge was noisy, and the air conditioning wasn’t working, so closing the window made the room stuffy. There was a wedding, with noise lasting until midnight. Drinking water wasn’t complimentary, and parking cost extra, though free parking was available outside the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again.
