Hotel Chamishki

We'd stay again if we wanted a break from camping on another road trip nearby. For our group of nine, the three rooms were all fine, and the cost was only a little more than camping. Two rooms had en-suite bathrooms, while the third had its own bathroom across the corridor. The beds had clean linen, the mattresses were comfortable, and everyone got a clean bath towel. One bathroom did run out of toilet paper, and its floor got dangerously slippery when my young daughter showered. We booked it for one night while driving through on a trip to Rila national park, where we usually camp.

We were moved four times in just two nights, and the owners treated us terribly. They said someone cleaned the rooms, but there was no cleaner. When we asked for another room, they pointed to a closet and wanted us to pay for it. They moved us because other guests had paid for a longer stay, and apparently there was no way to refund those guests. We were promised BGN 10 back only if we moved. We were worried they'd chase us out, since we heard them offer the room to other people who were staying ten days, while we were only there for two. These people are crooks. This hotel isn't worth the effort or the money put into it. Don't go.

Clean and comfortable, and a nice hotel.
