2 Room apartment Diamond Beach

The grounds are beautiful, with plants and a sea view, but the upkeep was very poor. There was dust and litter under the beds, and the floors were dirty and unswept when we arrived. A broken baby cot was left right in the kitchen. The furniture was very basic, and the balcony furniture was dusty and badly worn. The route to the beach has lots of stairs and is uncomfortable, really only manageable for healthy, strong guests. There was no private parking, no coffee machine, and very few kitchen utensils. Disappointing.

The pool was clean and fine, and the rooms were cleaned daily, including changing the bin bags and washing the floor. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. But the rooms didn't always match the online photos. We had two standard double rooms and one apartment, and only one of the double rooms looked like the photos. The apartment was different mainly in room size and having a place to sit in the kitchen. Its bathroom shower was like the one in the worse of our double rooms.

The hosts were friendly, and the location was lovely. Sitting by the pool, you get a very nice view, though it can get noisy when lots of people are there. A car would make things more comfortable, since there are no restaurants or cafes at the apartment complex. Burgas is just a 10-minute drive away. :)

The place looks like the pictures, but without paying extra for a sea view, you get a poor-quality apartment. Ours had plastic balcony furniture and a broken mosquito screen door. We asked them to fix it, but nothing happened. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. You'd have to pay 150% more for a sea view, or I wouldn't come. The security and cleaning staff spoke literally no English and just yelled at you for sitting by the pool after 10.00 pm instead of politely asking you to leave. They need to learn enough English to communicate with guests. The yard has fancy double beds. Like other guests, we put our towels on one early to reserve it. Someone took them to reception without telling us why. Staff couldn't explain what had happened. Other people also left towels there all day and only came for an hour. The treatment felt wildly unfair and different for different guests. They touched our belongings, couldn't give a reason, and wouldn't check the security cameras. The pool felt unsafe, and security was a joke. Jumping into the water was prohibited, but nobody stopped children doing it. The rules seemed ad hoc and applied only to foreign guests, so it was hard to rest or enjoy the pool. A horrible place for outsiders. On day 5, security sat all day in the air-conditioned reception and didn't come outside once. Children jumped into the pool all day and ate in it, while security and staff did nothing. On day 6, we got back and couldn't get in because nobody was at reception. We rang the bell, but there was no answer. Luckily, the backyard door was being replaced, so we could get in that way. That evening, people were asked to leave the pool after 10.00 p.m., but those sitting and talking were allowed to stay. At least that security person was nice.
