We loved it and would come back, though maybe not in July. The host is a friendly, smiling, well-mannered lady, and she let us park in front of the garage at the neighboring house. The garden pool was a lovely alternative to the beach in the daily heat. I’d recommend Irakli and Shkorpilovtsi for beach trips too. The view and garden pool caught my eye straight away. There’s a smart TV, but no internet, so we used a phone hotspot to watch what we wanted. No AC or WiFi wasn’t a problem for us. Our first-floor room was next to the cleaning lady, so privacy was limited. The walls are thin and the acoustics are poor. With tiles and bare walls in such a large room, every sound seemed to echo. The furniture is high quality and looks great, but the room felt too big and empty. It’s all very minimal, and there were no hooks for kitchen or bathroom towels. The bathroom ventilation didn’t work either, which could lead to mold soon. The covered barbecue area in the garden has no panoramic view. The fence and neighboring building site look ugly and distracting. Some plants might brighten the area, and the inside could use an acoustic designer.

The host was really nice and helpful, and the food was great and authentic, mostly made with homegrown ingredients. There’s a large pool in the beautiful garden, and Byala has very nice beaches too. Our modern, spacious apartment had an unmatched view from the balcony across the open plains to the bay of obzor. We’re planning to come again.

Breakfast was tasty, mostly made with local products, and the host was friendly and very helpful. It’s in a quiet part of Byala, with a big garden, a pool, hammocks, and lovely views of the sea and surroundings.
