The balcony had a good view, and the room was good. Don’t order the pizza, though, because it’s frozen.

The spa was nice, though there were kids jumping around in it, and it seemed to close at 8pm. Staff don’t speak English at all. The room was old, but the bathroom was big, and breakfast was nice. There’s no sound insulation, so you hear everything in the hotel. The ventilation was poor too, and the smell of food was very strong in the room.

The bed was comfortable, and both rooms were clean and tidy. The restaurant was okay and the food generally good. Breakfast was a buffet, not very large, but had enough choices to give you a good start. The first room had no heating or hot water, so we were moved to a different one the next day, which was better. Both rooms had small maintenance issues, like missing curtains and an uneven floor, and they were small.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though we arrived after 8pm, we could still use the spa area and get a full meal. Breakfast was good and varied, with mekitsi included. It’s a really friendly hotel in a great location for exploring the beauty of the Rhodope mountains. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area again. Thanks for a great stay!
