We were made to feel very well cared for by a lovely family, and we'd happily return. Our kids loved playing in the big garden while it was covered in snow, and were fascinated by the outdoor kitchen and garden, which feel almost like a museum. The house is within walking distance of Byala, and the little nearby supermarket, byalamarket, had everything we needed. We ate at the restaurant three times. Everything was fresh and delicious. It's only open to guests, so dinner needs to be requested ahead of time, which was easy enough. Breakfast is available there for €8 per person. We spent nine nights in winter. The simple rooms were clean, warm and comfortable, even with January temperatures of -11c. The room was cleaned three times, which was plenty for us. Since we were there in winter, the outdoor kitchen had fewer facilities available, but Alex went out of her way to help and make sure we had what we needed.

The bungalow was tidy, and check-in went smoothly. I had a comfortable stay, with good facilities and a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals.

We've stayed here twice and expect we'll be back. It's a lovely spot to unwind, and the owners do their best to make sure you're comfortable and have what you need. The guest houses are clean, cosy and comfortable. The garden has a quirky feel, with an outdoor dining area that really does have everything, right down to a kitchen sink. It's also a good place for kids, and pets are welcome.

A lovely setting with views that stretch a long way, and an authentic Bulgarian feel. The air-conditioned restaurant serves delicious food, or you can sit outside by the wishing well and quaint bridge. A fabulous experience.

The scenery is spectacular, and the houses are comfortable, clean and well arranged. The hosts are warm and friendly, making it feel like home. A great stay at an affordable price!
