Vemara City Apart Hotel

The pool was great for cooling off, and I slept well in the clean, comfortable room in B Block, overlooking it. The room was serviced most days, though not every day. The apartment was cool, but the air conditioning in the living area was noisy even when it wasn't running. It’s an apart hotel, but the kitchen area was basically unused since no cooking equipment was provided. I heated water in the microwave the first day, then spotted a kettle on the cleaners' trolley and asked for one. They brought it over. Bring your own pots and pans if you plan to cook. The location is away from the main road, seven minutes on foot from the bus stop and two minutes from a 24/7 supermarket. The parking area was adequate, and the staff were friendly. I'd stay again if it's available on my next visit.

The breakfast was okay, though the choices were limited. What really let the hotel down was the upkeep during our week there. The bedsheets weren't changed once, the floor wasn't washed, and we had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. The room doors make a terrible noise. For the price, this doesn't feel like a three-star hotel experience.

It’s a lovely, cozy hotel with its own parking lot, so you can just drive in. It is in the suburbs, which is the only downside, though still quite close to the city.

Had a perfect stay and really enjoyed the hotel. I'm coming back to Bulgaria in Nov and will definitely stay here again. 👌
