A really calm place in BYALA TOWN, right by the beach. I recommend it!

The location is great, and the apartments are spacious, well-equipped, and have views of the surrounding area. The price for the location is good, so I’d recommend it on that basis. But the place was badly neglected: dust, cobwebs, and dirt on the furniture, a damaged shower stall, a drain clogged with sand, a broken vacuum and balcony door, and dead remote batteries. It clearly hadn’t been refreshed for months. I spent a whole day cleaning and tidying, which shouldn’t have been my job.

We were six sharing one room, and the conditions were comfortable. The room was clean and attractive, with a balcony and working elevator. It had linens, towels, blankets, an iron, drying rack, ironing board, and all the usual kitchenware. The hood and oven worked, there was a water heater, and plenty of lights. The property is large, with three pools and several ways down to the sea. One pool bar serves the pool area, while another pool has no bar; the pool itself is split into adult and children's sections that join together. Pool loungers are free, while a lounger by the sea costs 6 leva and an umbrella also costs 6 leva. Staff were friendly, there’s a trash can on the grounds, and the shops are close, though you have to climb up to them. The pool bar bartenders were fun and even let us eat by the pool, though they probably wouldn’t allow drinks since it’s a bar. Their hookah was delicious too. I really enjoyed the stay and would return. The only drawback was the long climb up to the currency exchange office.

The receptionist was very friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. The complex felt below average, the pool was poorly maintained, and it was incredibly stuffy. The room was extremely dirty, as if it had been left uncleaned for several guests in a row. Parking was limited with no spaces available. We parked behind the hotel, but a strange man ran after us and demanded money, so we ended up using the restaurant next door’s parking. We’d stayed a couple of nights at the neighboring hotel beforehand. The prices were the same, but the experience was worlds apart.
