We’d been to this area before and came back because it’s an absolute hidden gem. Atia resort has lovely pools, feels secure, and is close to a sandy beach. It’s peaceful too, with restaurants and shops nearby but not so close that their noise carries over. The place is beautiful. I’d highly recommend the resort and Maria as a local Airbnb host.

Apartment D15 is nicely furnished and comes with all the appliances you need, plus a remarkable wireless speaker. The colors inside are softly bright, and the veranda blends right into the grass. The complex itself is well cared for, with a clean pool and beautiful green spaces.

The restaurant is the only deluxe option in the area, with spacious seating and comfortable chairs, but it’s expensive compared with what the town offers. Town is full of family-run restaurants serving genuinely great food at half the price. Also, be prepared to be surrounded by Russians or people from their republics.
