The friendly staff were a plus, though I expected the room to be cleaned daily. I didn't need fresh sheets, just a quick sweep of the floor, but that didn't happen. Our room had a terrace overlooking the parking lot, with no view, and it wasn't very spacious. The location wasn't great either. It's on the main road at the edge of the village, and the village itself is pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Bring a book or some games for the family, since many places around here don't have internet. Sherba complex is tucked away in a quiet spot in the forest, with a sauna and jacuzzi on site. The restaurant serves excellent Bulgarian cuisine.

The spa has a sauna and massage, and my family and I felt relaxed during our stay. If you're after some quiet time together, with fresh air and nature around you, this simple place could work well for a short holiday.

We tried the mushrooms, every soup, and the bread, all delicious. Such a peaceful place with a unique atmosphere. I'd recommend it for a family stay or a corporate event. Definitely somewhere I'll remember ❤️

I've been coming back to Sherba for years. My first visit was in 2013, and I've had the pleasure of staying several times since. The place sits among thick deciduous woods, and there's even a partisan bunker nearby. It's about a 40min drive from Varna, and I can't think of another place like it so close by. Even with limited staff during the pandemic, the two ladies handled reception, the spa, and the restaurant, and were always there when we needed them. Everything was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious, and the food was amazing. A couple of things could be better: the saunas had to be warmed up on request, so you had to tell reception when you wanted to use one. The mattresses were also a bit saggy and uncomfortable.
