Parking right outside is difficult, though there’s another place to park a short walk away. That’s the only reason I’m not giving five stars. The food has been outstanding across the many menu dishes I’ve tried over the years, and the modern decor comes with comfortable seats. On my latest visit, Ivan spoke English and was friendly, helpful, and full of information about Dobrich and nearby places.

The city view was nice, especially if that’s what you’re after. The rooms were great and had everything I needed, including a big bath. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were good overall. 10/10.

We left before unpacking and took the last-minute cancellation penalty rather than stay. Friends were waiting for us, so we had to move quickly and didn’t take photos. The place looked picturesque online, but the hotel sits at a dusty, noisy intersection. The furniture was so old it felt creepy, and there were ants crawling in the bathroom sink. Amenities amounted to sample packets of shampoo and similar things. One person seemed to be covering both the hotel and restaurant, and we couldn’t find him.

It’s a small hotel, but super cozy and in a great spot, just 5m from the cash points. It’s my top choice. They’re always full, though, so make sure you book.
