Gradina Golden Sands

The hotel was super clean and everyone was very friendly. I thought it was great value for the money, and I liked the place. The food menu wasn’t very diverse, unfortunately. Still, a very good experience for me, 9,1/10 ❤️

The outdoor pool and sun loungers were a great touch, especially in the morning when the beach gets crowded. The beach itself is less than an 8-minute walk away. There was a wide range of all-inclusive drinks, and the young bartenders were very skilled. Special thanks to bartender Viktorio, a real professional who was friendly, capable, and clearly knew his job. The staff were kind and ready to help, and everyone could communicate in English. The food was varied, though some dishes came around often. There was quite a bit of dill, maybe that’s a regional habit, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The rooms are modern and spacious, with open balconies that get lots of sun, plenty of room to sit, and a great view. The staff were incredibly kind, greeted us when they saw us, and cared about what we wanted. The service was wonderful. But the food ruined the holiday for me. Almost everything seemed frozen and prepackaged or canned, with very little choice and only standard buffet options. Nothing special. Coffee was alright, and the desserts were mediocre, premade, and surely not made in the restaurant. This could have been a perfect stay if the food had been bearable.

The employees are nice and the location is good, and the hotel itself is alright. But the food was the worst I’ve ever had. It was never fresh, just frozen or canned, with barely any choice beyond the usual basics. Most things had no taste, and the few that did tasted as if someone had made them with their feet. Don’t eat here. The desserts were bland too. The ice cream was so hard it couldn’t be scooped. Stay away from this restaurant.
