September evenings were chilly, but the bungalow heater kept us warm. The night sky was dazzling, and worth braving the cold for. We spent two nights in a bungalow that looked as advertised, in a quiet spot surrounded by Bulgarian nature, and visited the nearby Maryan winery and Elena. Breakfast and dinner featured tasty traditional dishes. We don’t speak Bulgarian, but the helpful hostess and her son happily explained everything in English, including menu choices, local specialties, and tips. For the drive back, the hostess suggested a scenic route to Veliko Tarnovo with places to stop along the way. We saw new scenery thanks to her recommendation. The hospitality was amazing.

The Hristovski Waterfall and the town of Elena are close by, and a river runs right alongside the complex. We stayed two nights with another family in the Family Bungalow of "Bungala Lucky". It was so peaceful, cozy, and refreshing, and the bungalow-villa had everything we needed, with thoughtful touches that made it convenient for a family with small children. The hosts made mushroom soup and mekichi for us, and they were so good we licked our fingers! Thank you for being so hospitable. Wishing you health and luck, and hoping you’ll always welcome guests with open hearts and receive the same warmth in return! 🥰❤️💐⛰️☀️🍀

The owners are friendly, smiling people who have worked to provide everything guests might need, even the most demanding ones. These are quiet, cozy bungalows in the center of Ravda. We’ll be glad to come back next summer and visit the Temelkovi family again.
