DSK Hotel

The place was dirty and nasty, and the food was horrible. Staff came into our room while we were asleep and took pictures. They were especially rude and unprofessional, which made the whole experience horrible. I don't recommend it.

This year we were given a room with badly damaged interiors and an extreme amount of dirt. When we raised it, staff said all the rooms were identical and saw no problem, responding abusively and impolitely. They also keep guests' passports at reception until checkout, an approach I haven't encountered at other hotels I've visited. Last summer we stayed here too and left a good review because they kindly asked for one and said it mattered to them then. That time, they'd renovated one floor and the rooms there were clean and nice. Honestly, I can't recommend this hotel at all.

The potatoes taste awful, and the pineapple juice is really salty. In this heat, air conditioning costs 5 Bulgarian leva a night. Coffee is 1.50 leva, and Wi-Fi only works on the balcony.

We stayed here a year ago and found it reasonably okay for the price. This time everything was much worse, including awful food in tiny portions. For some items they won't give you more than one piece. It's our second stay and our last at this "hotel".
