There weren’t enough staff, and the team didn’t seem very friendly or service-minded. The rooms in the newer part were spacious and fine, and the sanitary facilities were okay. The pool and other play areas were just fair. Dinner was okay, but breakfast was simple with little choice, and coffee cost extra. There are better places around Elena.

If you’re visiting Bulgaria, I’d suggest taking five more minutes to reach Elena and eating there instead. The food here wasn’t worth it, and there are plenty of other places where you can really enjoy a meal. Even the homeless cat wouldn’t touch their food, which says enough!

We emailed and called a month ahead to book four rooms for two days. We offered to pay in advance, but the woman at reception said there was no need. Then we arrived and found out the reservation was for the following days. The owner is the only person who speaks a little English.
