I spent three nights here and was very happy with my stay. It’s a clean, comfortable private house on a quiet residential street, not too far from the town center, and good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, though they don’t speak much English. Having a washing machine was handy for doing laundry, which I could hang out to dry. I also enjoyed picking and eating black grapes from the vine arbour in front of the house, a typical Bulgarian feature.

We were here for three nights while visiting a rock fest in Plovdiv, so we mostly used the guest house to sleep and didn’t get to enjoy it fully. It was tidy, quiet and nice, and the host was polite and helpful. The one thing I didn’t like was how small the double bed was.

The house has a kitchen with an oven, fridge and washing machine, and there’s a mineral pool nearby for swimming, bathing or sunbathing in summer. The rooms are simple, clean and good.
