We'd stayed here before and came back for the whole mid-term break, but the changes have made the place worse over time. We don't plan to return. The restaurant is inside the casino, so meals come with the constant smell of cigarette smoke. Children can't enter, leaving families to carry plates out and eat in corners, which is a pretty bad sight. The dining space and tables are small, meals feel rushed, and food choices are very limited. Service was cold and rude. Orders didn't arrive, rooms weren't cleaned, and we had to find staff or even track down the cleaning trolley ourselves. We couldn't reach anyone in charge. Only reception staff would speak to us, and they said they didn't know, then sent us elsewhere. There's also an electrical fault throughout the hotel. You can feel it on metal objects, in the lift and on the machines. For better service and food, you may be happier choosing another hotel. Don't let yourselves be victimized.

I was considering booking a few nights here while spending three or four days in the area. The photos caught my eye, but after reading more than twenty-five reviews from past guests, I changed my mind. Different people, writing at different times, kept raising the same issues. When complaints recur like that, they don't seem like a one-off misunderstanding. Cleanliness came up repeatedly: dust on furniture, water marks on bathroom surfaces, mirrors and sinks, and, in some rooms, no hairdryer. Guests also described stains of different colors and uncertain origins, suggesting little attention to cleaning and disinfecting rooms between stays. Several people said they had to eat in the adjoining casino area, where the air was saturated with cigarette smoke, with no dedicated place to order and eat comfortably. For a supposed 5-star resort, reviewers also questioned the lack of one, two, or even three proper restaurants. They said there weren't enough kitchen staff, or staff in other parts of the resort either. Breakfast was another common complaint. People reported too few staff to look after the guests, queues at the coffee machine while another machine was deliberately left off, and only pancakes, three pastries and very little else. It hardly sounds like breakfast at a 5-star hotel. The lack of courtesy and empathy seemed just as troubling. Guests said nobody asked how their stay was or offered a smile at checkout. Human contact, kindness and interest in guests should be basic parts of hotel work, and this behavior makes me wonder whether staff have the professionalism expected at a 5-star place. I'll leave it there. I gave three stars because I don't want to penalize this large establishment further. It still seems to need serious adjustments. If a manager takes these complaints seriously and improves the issues, guests could be happier and return. Positive word of mouth and reviews could help build revenue eight or ten times higher than it is now. Guests are the lifeblood of a resort and should be treated well. Dissatisfied guests mean lost money and, above all, damage to the resort's image, with significant revenue losses in the short and medium term. Satisfied guests may return several times a year and recommend the place through word of mouth and better reviews.

The hotel looks grand and beautiful, inside and out, and the room facilities made a good impression. I appreciated having a smart TV. But after a week here on business, the room's cleanliness was hard to overlook: smudged mirrors, dusty furniture and water marks in the bathroom. The hairdryer had some unidentified white substance on it, which made me doubt how well equipment is disinfected between guests. Breakfast was a letdown too, with only two kinds of ham, boiled eggs, pancakes, some vegetables and fruit, and three kinds of pastries. It really brought down the stay. The staff could also be friendlier and more welcoming. If the hotel works on these things, I think guests would enjoy it a lot more 😊

Had a great night at the casino. Drinks and snacks were free, smoking is allowed inside, and every first-time customer gets a €10 gift. Really cool.
