The receptionist was very kind and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. There’s a good restaurant next door where you can order à la carte breakfast at a fair price. Parking in front is free, and the local church with its shiny golden roof is only a short walk away. A nice hotel in the centre of this small town.

We were surprised by how good the food was in a small town like Shipka, so we came back a second time. The chicken wings, chicken burger, and chicken tenders were delicious, and there are Bulgarian dishes such as casseroles too. The homemade desserts were lovely, the draft beer was very cheap, and the prices overall were great value. Service was fast and super friendly, and the owner was very nice. The restaurant feels cosy and modern. Definitely worth a visit!

A great restaurant with really nice food, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also spoke English very well. The room was very clean and comfortable. A really nice hotel, well suited to visiting the local Shipka sights.

We booked ahead for our two days here during the Rose festival, and I’d highly recommend staying. The room was clean, had no smell, and everything was in order. Dany at reception is a lovely girl and very fluent in English. Kazalnak is 11 km away, but this place is quiet. Within walking distance there’s a tracian tombs museum, 6 leva/person, and Shipka Monastery, open everyday for free.

A lovely, welcoming place to stay when visiting Shipka. The food was amazing, the portions generous, and the value for money excellent. Staff and service were super nice.
