Chiplakoff

For the price, this hotel is great. I visit regularly with my family. The apartments are spacious, get cleaned regularly, and there are parking spaces. It’s close to the southern beach and very quiet, and also near the center and the Novara coastal area for walks. You can have a peaceful vacation by the sea with a view. Mr. Chiplakov is a great guy, too. I recommend him with both hands.

The hotel deserves one star. The service was awful. The room, terrace and bathroom were covered in dirt, dust and cobwebs. The toilet and its brush were disgusting. There was no light on the terrace, and the only light in the room barely worked. A double room costs 50 leva, then parking is another five leva a day. There’s no breakfast, and they don’t even leave you soap. The furniture is worn out, and there isn’t even a soap holder in the bathroom. From the first day, they told us there was a technical problem with the town’s internet. But there were technicians at the houses around us, so it seemed the hotel simply hadn’t paid for internet. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels and never seen service like this. I’d never stay here again. Their website says the hotel has a playground, but it’s actually municipal. Then they wonder why Bulgarians go to Greece for the sea in such numbers. At least there you know what you’re paying for and get a decent level of service.

I never stayed at the hotel, mainly because of how the owner spoke to me on the phone. He was arrogant and haughty. The children's corner advertised on the website is actually a municipal playground open to everyone, not just hotel guests.

The hotel is in a quiet spot, very close to the southern beach. The rooms are equipped and clean, and the prices are very good. We’re visiting as a family for the fourth time.
