My reservation wasn't secure, and a vacation can be ruined right before it even starts. I booked three weeks ahead, paid, and received confirmation from the property, but the day before my trip I got an email saying it was cancelled. The reason was that the owner had just been asked for a 10-night booking and cancelled ours because that meant more money than our two nights. For someone renting out a property to tourists, this is seriously unethical behavior.

What a lovely holiday. The house has a really tasteful design, the breakfast was very good, and the hosts are great. We had a delightful stay. Thank you, Anuta and Alexander!

The owners are nice and willing to help, but very old-fashioned. If you like old-fashioned things, dusty carpets, and aged furniture, this place might suit you. The bathroom is separate from the room, across the hallway by the entrance, which is a big downside.

It felt like staying in a museum, a unique experience. The hosts are special people and treated my girlfriend and me like their own children. We'll definitely return!
