Hotel Queen Nelly Park

There are two pools and the hygiene is top notch. Kids have great food and entertainment, and there are morning yoga sessions for adults along with other activities during the day if you’re interested. The staff are kind. I’m glad we chose this place, and I’d recommend staying here, especially with children.

There’s lots of greenery around this very nice three-storey hotel, which is close to the beach and especially suitable for families with kids. It has two pools, including one just for children. The restaurant is well run, and the staff are polite and friendly.

The animation team was a real highlight. They spoke English fluently and got guests involved around the pool, with water polo, pétanque, darts, mini disco, and other activities. Most staff were very friendly, though two receptionists were unprofessional and unhelpful. Their Bulgarian was limited, and they knew little Russian, so communication was difficult. The rooms and hotel matched the photos, with no unpleasant surprises on arrival. Shops, restaurants, and a local train stop were close by. Cleanliness was excellent: towels changed daily, sheets weekly, and the grounds were well maintained. There were downsides too. The food often looked tastier than it was, although we could always find something we liked. The restaurant regularly ran out of glasses, leaving us to use plastic cups. Music, especially bass from nearby clubs, came through even with the windows shut and disturbed our sleep. We could also hear everything through the thin walls between rooms. The rubbish bins outside gave off a strong, unpleasant smell. The locked hotel gates meant we had to use the main entrance, making the walk to the beach much longer than expected. In our room, there was only one usable outlet, so we had to unplug the noisy fridge and move the extra bed to reach another one. The cleanliness and animation team were strong points, but the reception service, lack of proper glasses, noise, and locked gates took away from the stay.

We had a great time relaxing by the pool, and the all-inclusive deal came with tasty food choices. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was a fantastic stay for the price.
