Villa Magus

The peaceful setting was one of the best parts. There’s lush greenery around the hotel, and the spa and swimming pool were a great way to unwind after sightseeing. We also had a quiet stay, with spacious, clean rooms and exceptionally cozy beds that made for a good night’s sleep. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived and handled everything efficiently. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety and something for different tastes. They even prepared a packed breakfast for our early flight back, which we really appreciated. We had an exceptional stay and would highly recommend the hotel for business or leisure, with comfort, great service and useful amenities.

The view of the pine forest is lovely, and the WiFi works really well. I’m glad I stayed here and slept like a baby. The blonde receptionist was such a kind person and treated me so nicely. It’s a shame there’s no smart TV. Manager, please put up darker curtains.

The heated pool was superb, and we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel sits in the middle of the woods, with plenty of trails to walk. Our room had a calming view and was spacious, equipped and well maintained. The staff were excellent, always polite, attentive and helpful. Staying there felt like being at home, not somewhere unfamiliar. Two thumbs up :)

The prices are absurd for food of this quality. The sea bass my server recommended tasted stale, and the rice with it was incredibly oily, with a lamb-filling taste. The “black Angus” schnitzel tasted like cheap minced meat, the French fries looked bulimic, and the ribs somehow had just one bone and didn’t taste like ribs. Honestly, I’d stick to ordering salads at this restaurant.
