The location is fairly quiet, though nearby hotels play loud music, which might be a plus or minus depending on what you like. The pools aren't heated, so the water is cold. Food choice is limited and the taste isn't as good as it should be. Given the rooms and service, I don't think the high prices are justified, especially with parking charged separately. Room cleaning was barely done, and dust on the shelves was easy to see. They seemed unfriendly toward Romanian people and treated them roughly. The hotel doesn't feel like four-star quality. Maintenance is worse than at a motel: the right elevator kept failing, and people could get stuck. On our first day I already had a bad feeling. That night, some Polish kids in the neighboring room were fighting or something and kept slamming the walls. Around 12 pm, a loud bang made the painting above my head fall on me. It hit hard enough that I was bleeding. We called the police and an ambulance. It was a long ordeal, and the police didn't do anything. I'd recommend taking down any paintings hanging above your bed.

I'm appalled and deeply disappointed. I've been visiting Bulgaria for years and stayed in four-star hotels, but this was unlike anything I've experienced. The conditions are awful, and calling it a four-star hotel feels deceptive. The photos I attached show several of these problems. The rooms weren't cleaned properly. Within seconds of walking in, the floor had blackened my socks and feet, and the gray dust and dirt were visible. A broken drain left a mess for three days without anyone cleaning it. I had to go to reception three times; the receptionist was very nice and called housekeeping while I was there, but nobody came. They didn't change the linens or towels, wiped no dust and mopped no floors. Sheets were carelessly thrown on the bed. Mattresses meant for extra beds were left in the corridor and dragged through dirt and dust when brought to a room, as the photos show. Food was usually cold: hardened macaroni, fried eggs left out so long the yolks couldn't be cut with a fork, only four options of very low-quality meat, and desserts that were dried out or felt like plastic. Cockroaches appeared by the sofa the day after we checked in. The bathroom leaked under the bathtub and shower water flooded as far as the balcony. The toilet flush button stuck, the toilet brush was broken into three pieces and left beside the toilet even after the morning "cleaning," and there was no bath mat, so it was slippery getting out of the tub. We also found used soap from the previous apartment guests in the shower. On our floor, there was no elevator, the hallway lights didn't come on and Wi-Fi didn't work. The path beside the hotel leading to the beach was filthy, with plastic plates, empty bottles and rotting food, and it smelled unbearable. The hotel knows this is the quickest route to the beach, yet it lets the path turn into a dump. Please consider staying somewhere else.

It doesn't deserve four stars. The employees were polite, and the area was quiet. The food wasn't great and was the same every day. Only one of the two elevators worked, and it was painfully slow. The all-inclusive price didn't cover beach umbrellas or chairs. There were lots of children staying there, almost like a summer camp, though I don't know if that was a one-off, and it's more an observation than a complaint. Walking to the beach takes five to ten minutes and involves quite a few stairs. The outside of the hotel doesn't look very good, Wi-Fi didn't reach my room, and the bathroom water smelled like sewage.

The balcony looks out toward the sea, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk to the beach. The hotel could use faster Wi-Fi.

I wouldn't give this place four stars. There was mould in many areas, and much of the hotel, including the spa, fitness area and pool, wasn't working. The furniture was broken and there wasn't even soap in the bathrooms. Such a waste of money, time and nerves.
