The stuffed peppers are worth ordering, and the food was easily the best we found in town. The hosts were so welcoming and kind. Just call ahead to make sure they’re open.

The room has an amazing view, and the couple hosting us are very sweet and clearly doing their best. They grow vegetables for the restaurant, though I felt the food and wine could use some improvement. The sink in our room also didn’t work properly.

Even though we showed up around 11 pm on a Sunday, Vesko welcomed us after the other restaurants had closed and cooked a delicious meal just for us. His kyufte and homemade fries were especially good, and the yoghurt with blueberry jam was great too. Everything was homemade. Vesko was also kind, welcoming, and funny. Highly recommend!

Suzi and Vesko have created a place with a wonderful view and such positive energy, and they really make sure you enjoy your stay. We’ve stayed here twice already and plan to come back soon. For us, it’s the best place to stay and visit in Kovachevitsa.

The food uses produce from their gardens, and I’d especially suggest trying the white cheese with a glass of red wine. The people here are extremely helpful and polite. The dogs weren’t a problem, just as they said. Absolutely recommend.
