Just lovely, really.

The hosts were cheerful and warm-hearted, and the house was exceptionally clean. It’s a peaceful, quiet place to stay.

We had no trouble parking, there was always room in the yard. The hosts were extremely kind, and our room was spacious, cozy, and well furnished when we stayed at the end of August. It was cleaned every day, better than what I’ve experienced at some multi-star hotels. The village itself is another matter: the streets were broken, the sidewalks overgrown with grass, and the bins overflowing. That’s down to poor management of the village.

Kranevo wouldn’t be my choice either. We had a nice time visiting nearby places, thankfully, despite this stay. The room was cleaned every day, which I appreciated, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I’ve never had a mattress like that, you could feel the springs, and there was just one top sheet for two people. From the start, they tried to charge us more than the price advertised on Booking, and cooking in the room wasn’t allowed. On our last day, we were first to arrive and there was a parking spot inside, but the hostess disappointed us. A woman with an Audi stopped without paying attention, and the hosts said she had been staying there for years. They wouldn’t call her to move the car, leaving us with nowhere to park since all the nearby spaces were taken. Apparently, people like her get priority.
