Hotel Morski Dar

A little farther from the beach, and there’s no breakfast option, but the hotel is pleasant and quiet. Parking is good and the staff are very friendly. I’d gladly come back.

The host and staff were lovely, and they even treated me to coffee while I waited for my transfer at the end of my stay. It’s a cosy, clean place, and I’d like to return. The local beach is about a 15-minute walk away, with two large supermarkets and lots of restaurants nearby. During my week there, my room was cleaned and the towels and sheets were changed once. The bins were emptied every day. My only drawback was the lack of mosquito nets on the window and balcony door.

*This review is about the restaurant* After a long night looking for somewhere with a working kitchen, this place took us in. You can see into the kitchen through its open door, including the conditions the food is prepared in. Prices were a little lower than at most other places, but the waiters were slow. The fried cheese was satisfactory. The rest of the food was extremely questionable. The “Ovcharska” salad was just tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese, plus mushrooms from a jar. The fried mussels seemed obviously frozen and reheated in a microwave. Most disturbing, the lemon in the water was soaked in alcohol, which suggests it had been transferred from another customer's glass. Low hygiene!

The staff and hotel owner are kind and polite, and the restaurant food was nice. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. It’s in a good spot on the main street. We had an enjoyable stay.
