The location was the one positive. The bathroom smelled awful, and so did the mattress, which had dirty marks on it. The sheets didn’t fit properly, so we wound up sleeping on that dirty, smelly mattress. The sink tap was rusty, and the lock was partly broken: it was hard to lock the door, and if we left it unlocked, it opened by itself. For the price, this could have been much better.

The hostel is pleasant and very clean, and it’s close to downtown. The owner is amazing, friendly, and helpful, and does whatever he can to make guests comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I felt really comfortable here. The bed and room were great, and you were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. It was lovely meeting you both. Thank you so much for a nice stay.

Really good for the price, though the tobacco smell was very strong.

It’s hard to find a better option at that price, and the place was very clean. The mattress, though, had clearly reached the end of its life.
